Chest De-Construction

I haven’t posted anything in a while, so I thought I should make an appearance.

I just got done with what I consider to be a pretty killer chest workout. Did the run of various angular bench presses plus incline flys, pullovers, and high cable crossovers. Went with 3 sets of 10 for each movement, 15 on the crossovers. I think I’m going to be feeling this one tomorrow.

As I got to the end of each press set, I was definitely nearing the point of a failure. The last set of inclines was a rest-pause, as was the last set of declines. It was a tough one, but I’m expecting to see some pretty good results from it.

Overall volume on chest alone was roughly 17,000 pounds. I think that’s an honest day’s work, don’t you? It sure feels like it!
