So, the holiday of blowing stuff up is over. That was fun. Now it’s time to get back to work!
I’ve decided after the last month to change my tune just a bit with my workouts, and I’m hoping it’s going to provide me with some good results. My plan is to use a modified type of 5/3/1 system with added isolation work. Each week I’m going to push my comfort level with my 1RM lifts. This will include: Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, and Shoulder Press.
For week 1 I’m going to do 15 reps of each assistance exercise. Week 2 down to 12, week 3 down to 10, and week 4 down to 8 or even 6 reps. I think this will be a good plan and provide me with a good baseline on where I’m at.
I know I have written much lately but I’m going to try to do a little better. Stay tuned for more information as the month goes forward. Hopefully I’ll be able to report some good stuff!
